I thought that someone would have started something on the new security system that will be used next semester but no one has so I'm starting one.
There was a meeting about it this evening that I went to to find out more about it. Apparently (if I recall this correctly) the red doors cost about $1500 to put in just for the alarms. That is 1/3 of the cost of the other doors. When they say that door propped opened for too long it is 1 minute before the alarm goes off and the doors lock down. If the doors lock down they will be locked from the outside, they can still be used as exits. So fire alarm goes off we can still exit.
That was what I mainly learned from the meeting. Oh and the reason that we can't have laundry money on our cards is because there isn't a junk bar on these cards. I want laundry money on the card
Otherwise I'll wait to see how I feel about it
