Ok, then I ask on what grounds have my entries been refused?

If you want the true answer then I hope you don't get offended.

I didn't put them up there because I would have been mortified to walk around with either of those images on my shirt, and I'm not the only person who thought so.

Ok, this is probably last post on the topic because I have stressed too much and lost too much sleep on this, and I am going out of town.

If you know that there are so many people who aren't going to vote for it, why does it matter if it is in the poll?  If it's not going to get selected, let people who might enjoy it have that option.  The whole point of having a poll is to let all of the members of the club have their say on what goes on the shirt and not limit the selection to a few members of the club, hopefully, therefore, finding a design that will have a wide appeal to the whole club.  If you exclude options because you would never, ever, wear the design in your life, you compromise that process. 
Secondly, if it does get selected, nobody is going to make you get a shirt, pay for it, or wear it around campus.  That's the way it works, if you don't like the design, you don't have to get one.  I'm certain that there are other designs in the poll that people in club would not want on a t-shirt.  If those designs win, they are not obligated to get a shirt.  Similarly, if a design that you don't like wins, you don't have to get the shirt.

Honestly, it is probably the inclusion of these other designs that upset me most.  It's not that the other designs should be excluded, but that those designs were included while ours were excluded.  If they were left out of the poll, then the exclusion looks like a true quality control process (which is also wrong, but another subject entirely).  When it is only our designs left out, it appears (even if it is not the case) that they were excluded simply because you either didn't like them or because you didn't like us, and that would simply be wrong and the entirely wrong way to go about things.

Whether or not I like you was of no part in this. None at all. I do not like the fact that you feel my personal feelings for someone would hinder my judgment. If you want to be angry fine. Send me lots of angry pms, but please do not make forums uncomfortable for others to be on.

I acknowledge your points, I may not have been right in not including these, but whats done is done so please GET OVER IT. These angry defending of personal opinions on all sides have killed this forum.

I will say that this is mostly all my fault. I apologize, as I have before. I will not take it back. Next time, however, please post your complaints directly to me. Get a hold of me in person and chew me out, I don't care. I just would hate to cause distress on forums that are meant to be fun.

I'm sorry if I didn't communicate this well.  I did not mean to say that you actually did let your personal feelings play a part in it, but only that the situation allowed it to appear that that was the case.  I also said that it also could appear to be the case you didn't like our designs, not that you didn't like us.  I am sure you can understand why people in our situations would feel that way. 
Having heard the actual reasons for why our entries were excluded now, I do not feel that your personal opinions towards us as people were the cause of this.
