Welcome to the website of the Anime Club of Truman State University (usually known simply as "The Anime Club"). Feel free to check out our schedules, forum, and picture gallery. Our most recent announcements will be posted down below on this page.

The Anime Club is an organization of students who enjoy watching anime and reading manga. We also enjoy Japanese culture, and we occasionally find our interests touching on gaming, other animation and East Asian culture in general. Our most important goal of this club is to bring anime fans at Truman together to further enjoy and discuss anime as a group, and help expose it to new people.

We have meetings for viewing anime every Friday night, starting at 6:30 and runs until midnight (or even longer!).

Voting is over! The switch-over and advice for new officers will be Sunday night at the admin. meeting in a joint-run meeting, 7 p.m. in OP. All the current officers and new officers should plan on attending the meeting tomorrow (Sunday, April 27th). The last admin. meeting of the year will be NEXT Sunday night and will be the first meeting run by the new officers. President: Carl (Returning!) Secretary: Chaz Treasurer: Sarah (Returning!) Make sure to go to the forum and vote for new officers for the coming year.  Just an additional reminder for you! And remember the end of the year party for club is this Saturday, starting at 7:00 pm in Violette Hall until midnight.  Check the forum for details!  Bring yourself and food and we'll have a great end-year bash.  See you then!

Voting has started! Voting for Officers for the 2008-2009 school year will take place until Saturday, April 26th at 6:30pm. The new officers will be announced at the End-of-the-Year Party and should plan on attending the admin. meeting this Sunday at 7pm in OP.
